Rich Reichert (Football)
Coach Reichert (Class of ’70) has been the Head Football Coach at St. Anthony’s for 25 seasons. In that time he has amassed a total record of 211-48-2. He has also coached 13 teams to CHSFL Championships. He is a fixture at St. Anthony’s High School where his coaching philosophy of “be good people and do things the right way and winning will take care of itself” has not only led the football program to perennial success, but served as a standard for other programs at St. Anthony’s as well.

Gene Buonaiuto (Boys Soccer, Head Varsity Coach)
Coach Buonaiuto is entering his 35th season with the Friars Soccer Program (27 seasons as head coach). His record is 334-105-35. He was name Coach of the Year by the NSCAA in 1994 and Coach of the Year in the NSCHSAA seven times. Prior to joining the Friars, he coach for 14 years in the LIJSL.

Don Corrao (Boys Soccer, Assistant Varsity Coach)
Coach Corrao will be entering his tenth season with the Friars. Since joining Coach Buonaiuto at the helm the Friars have posted a cumulative record of 143 -33-15. Coach Corrao has been instrumental in the Friars gaining national attention as a result of the team’s rigorous schedule that includes nationally ranked opponents in addition to highly competitive NSCHSAA. Coach Corrao is a member of the NSCAA and prior to joining the Friars, he coached for 20 years with the LIJSL.

Mike Massa (Varsity Softball Head Coach)
Coach Massa enters his twentieth year as a head varsity softball coach, and his fourth as head coach of the Friars. In this time he has amassed over two hundred wins, between his public and Catholic school career.  At St. Anthony’s, he has a record of 60 – 13 over the past three seasons. His teams at St. Anthony’s have made playoff appearances every season as well as going to the Long Island CHSAA championship game two out of the last three years. In 2009, his team completed an undefeated regular season, as well as a league championship. He is a two-time CHSAA Coach of the Year, and was named Long Island Coach of the year in 2001.

Ken Parham (Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach

Sal Lagano (Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach)
Sal Lagano brings 18 years experience of coaching at the Division II college level at New York Institute of Technology. He is also a longtime faculty member of St. Anthony’s. He has taught Health for over 20 years and is currently the Chairman of the Physical Education Department.
