The curriculum covered will include a review of the previous topics you have already learned, in addition to the new and challenging topics you will study in the upcoming school year. Students will have considerable support with the AP summer assignment and conduct laboratory experiments to supplement the material taught.

APES students will be introduced (but not limited to) such topics as the history of the environmental movement, biology, geology, ecology, GMOs, climate change, species endangerment, environmental laws and politics, economics, and epidemiology and human health.

This two-week course will offer ninth, tenth or eleventh grade students the opportunity to conduct a short-term experiment and learn the techniques necessary to write and deliver a research paper.

The Introduction to Anatomy course is a two week intensified program geared to any student interested in science and/or pursuing a career in medicine.
